A Port is a high-speed Ethernet interface acting as an NNI between a user and the Megaport network. It is configured as an 802.1Q VLAN trunk to support up to 100 Virtual Cross Connects – each presented as a unique VLAN. Diversity options are available and recommended to improve resiliency. In many data centers, Megaport can even provide the cross connect for you, making the ordering process even simpler and completely painless.
