Megaport Collaborates With NVIDIA to Boost AI in Australia

Australia’s home-grown global automated infrastructure platform is part of a cohort of companies with Australian operations that will provide regional businesses and institutions access to NVIDIA accelerated computing and NVIDIA Nemotron open models.
It’s a point of pride for all of us at Megaport that we’ve built a global automated infrastructure platform while maintaining our deep Australian roots. Now, we’re working with NVIDIA to build out the region’s AI infrastructure and accelerate innovation in the region, and across the world.
This regional collaboration will create an expanding ANZ ecosystem of NVIDIA accelerated computing and NVIDIA Nemotron open models in full-stack AI factories built using NVIDIA DSX AI Factory platform. What that means for Australian businesses and institutions is their increasing demand for AI infrastructure can be met, powering even more growth and opportunity. And that will keep our region not just competitive, but right at the forefront of the global AI economy.

One of the best parts of this, for me, is that it only complements everything else Megaport has set out to do in building our global network and distributed AI inference platform.
It was under a year ago that we acquired Latitude.sh, which brought powerhouse bare-metal accelerated computing to our unrivaled Network as a Service platform. We’re busy deploying our latest batch of NVIDIA HGX B300 CPU clusters as we continue to expand our global automated infrastructure platform, bringing AI inference to the edge. This year’s launch of storage added another concentric circle to our expanding rings of software-defined infrastructure for AI-native companies and enterprises.
We’re keen to be in on this focused effort to expand the capacity of AI factories across Australia and enhance the AI economy throughout the region. Collaborating with NVIDIA to be part of this critical investment in essential AI infrastructure is another validation of Megaport’s strength in compute, network, and storage.
