Exetel Joins Megaport Fabric

Exetel Megaport Spotlight

Today we’d like to introduce Exetel, one of Australia’s largest independent service providers. They’ve been operating for over 10 years, offering a full range of cost effective telecommunication services to both residential and corporate customers. We’ve welcomed them as a reseller partner for Megaport and we couldn’t be happier to have them join our network.

As the market evolves, we’ve noticed that Exetel has been adept at sourcing relevant products and providing the correct tailored services to meet their clients’ changing needs. This is exceptionally appealing to us as a company where one of our key value propositions is to provide flexible solutions to the market. We always enjoy partnering with companies that share our approach when it comes to adapting to the ever evolving tech environment.

“Over the past decade, we’ve seen the needs of our existing customers change and evolve, and have been able to facilitate their growing communications needs away from traditional data and voice, and to help them connect to the cloud. Partnering with Megaport enables our clients to establish rapid, direct connectivity to multiple public cloud providers on flexible terms to ensure they meet their project requirements.”

– James Linton, Director of Corporate Sales, Exetel.

By virtue of them becoming a reseller partner, Exetel customers will be able to connect their clients in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure via a direct, private link. Clients don’t have to be located in the same data centres as the cloud providers to benefit from their services.

We, at Megaport always value the opportunity to work with partners who can further extend our reach. Partnering with a company like Exetel allows more customers, no matter where they might be, to connect to the cloud, whether their business is located in a data centre, or in an office building. When it comes to reaching customers, Exetel have given us that last mile piece of the puzzle.

If you’d like to learn more about our partnership with Exetel and what this means for you, please fill out the form below and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
