21715 Filigree Ct in Ashburn has been Megaported! The site is now live and ready to provision orders. This is one of 32 builds in our current North American expansion plan and represents one of several core locations anchoring our elastic interconnection fabric in the Washington DC metro area (aka Northern Virgina or NoVA).

Megaport’s NoVA metro fabric capabilities include Cloud Cross Connects (CXCs) to key Cloud Service Providers including:

  • Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute
  • Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute for Office 365
  • Google Cloud Interconnect
  • AWS Direct Connect

Plus, as with all locations Internet Exchange services are available. Find out how easy it is to get connected via our portal or contact our sales team via email.

The Filigree Ct. campus and NoVA have evolved into a critical interconnection hub for the East Coast of the US. The Northern Virginia area, including Herndon and Reston have long been a hot spot for telecom companies’ regional data centers and headquarters. As the Internet boom of late 90s was at its peak, larger, interconnection-purpose-built data centres began popping up in Ashburn where once there were only cow pastures. It wasn’t long before major fiber routes were tethered directly into these campuses. Today, this metro represents a who’s who of the cloud and network ecosystem.

We are excited to provide our customers with SDN-enabled, elastic interconnection in Northern Virginia.
